From Phytamthoza Iconographia 1735-1745 these original hand coloured engravings  are extremely rare and desirable.  Out of eleven hundred various botanical engravings published by Johann Wilhelm Wienmann only twenty six were aloes in pots.

This publication is also highly regarded for the quality of its colour plates and the accuracy of its images compared to previous herbal publications.
