NEO -CLASSICAL OAK CENTRE TABLE WITH MARBLE TOP

England Circa 1810

Width 48 ¾” (117 cm) Depth 22 ¾” (58cm) 33” ( 84 cm )

The Gris des Ardennes marble top above a pair of shaped acanthus carved and scroll decorated ends on moulded platform bases united by plain stretchers.

The design of this table derives from the much admired ancient Roman bath made of rosso antico and known as the Tomb of Agrippa.

This interesting and elegant table would provide the ideal platform for displaying an imposing sculpture.
